I tested my nutrients today. Phosphates dropped from .36ppm to .09ppm in 2 weeks time

Some of the changes from last test:

- Ran out of pellets. Been feeding my home made frozen fish food exclusively. Prior to that it was mysis shrimp and spectra pellets. This helped.

- Bringing up my salinity (after hypo salinity), resulting in skimmer production going into overdrive. I am wet skimming. Not by choice it just worked out like that so removing at least 1 gallon per day

Tank clarity is finally starting to get better, before I felt like i was constantly fighting a smog of cloud and wondered if my filtration was sufficient. Maybe I will hold out on the refugium for now so i can see where my nutrients land with just skimming and mechanical sponge.

What did you use for your recipe?
Scallops, tilapia, Cod, shrimp and some small strange fish I found at the grocery store I wonder why humans eat.

Fish love it. I am actually out of it now. Crazy to think it's been maybe 6 week and at least 5-10lbs worth of food. I'm gonna cutt down portions now that I got a big bag of spectrum pellets

Unfortunately I still have ich in my system so hyposalinity just cost me 6 months of maturity. So I made it a point to feed my fish like crazy all day frozen food and nori. Only fish that has spots is the hippo. Orange shoulder scratches from time to time. The achiles and powder blue are not effected by the ich. It is quiet impressive to see these fish building a tolerance to ich better than other fish

Added some montis and stylos to the 400gallon 3 days ago. They seem to be reacting good to the tank. These are the first SPS I adder to my past tank and they survived some bad conditions in the basement these past 3 years. Nauti spiral is higher in the tank and looks good but maybe getting too much light. I have option to remove these frags since none will be glued on rock structure.

Besides these I have Monti Undata, Spongodes Monti, Green encrusting Monti, Forest fire digi, and Red cap Monti. I am retiring from collecting Montis. The 8 that I have are pest free and more than enough. But one I lost years ago I could see myself wanting back, Leng Sy cap. I never seen a fully grow Leng sy cap and think the purple rim is magnificent and largely underrated
