I have a 180g (150 6' footprint) acrylic tank mixed reef mainly LPS, some softies, and a carpet nem. I am considering easier SPS in the distant future. I want to change up my 3 maxspect jump 165's and supplemental 21 inch blade over nem...and grab 3 AP9Xs or 3 Neptune Sky lights. I do like the look of T5s but unfortunately I am unable to hang fixtures in this apartment, and I don't want to build a DIY hanging rack with my limited space to work with. I know both of these fixures do have mounting arm options.
Which will provide better coverage with three fixtures? Any suggestions or pros/cons are welcome
