African Sea Stars are scavengers, feeding primarily on detritus, biofilm, and leftover meaty foods, but they may require supplemental feeding in tanks with minimal natural food sources and Gamma Frozen Foods. Peaceful and reef-safe, they coexist well with non-aggressive tankmates, though care should be taken to avoid sharp or rough surfaces that can damage their delicate arms.
