I got a "assorted coral" from Petco but I don't know how it is. Please help me identify it. Some kind of branching coral from the looks of it

It's definitely some type of lps by the calcium like structure. Maybe a thicc finger coral or something? This is as open as it gets

Its still hard to tell. Taking coral pics is not easy. Is the coral hard or is it fleshy? Looks to me like some sort of leather tbh but without further info or better open pics its hard to tell. I see nothing in the pic that screams lps to me. Could be sps or leather depending on its physical traits at this time.

Given my experience with what local petcos here sell, my guess is definitely a leather, and likely a sinularia (or related)

Edit to add: looks mad, but given time should open up nicely

Thanks for the replies. Giving what petco sells are typically just soft corals ill look into it.
