Could I get away with one in a 75 gallon tank? Even if the answer is no what are some tankmates and how do I take care of one?

Why buy one and the rehome it ?
IMO it’s a waste of money

Flounder is delicious.

But that would be one expensive meal getting it up to Pan size.

Locally they have to be 16" to keep as food.
That would be a bizarre law discussion if you ate it smaller.

Probably not worth it to even consider it then
They are cheap, cute and pretty cool when they are small.
But yeah, a disaster for the rest of the smaller $$$ fish and not a long term viable fish for most small tanks.
