Wow! What's the bulb combination you're using? That's pretty amazing. How long was it under LEDs?

That frag was taken from a mother that had been grown under led for about a year. I can't remember the exact bulb combo but it was probably 3 blue plus, 1 purple plus and 2 coral plus. I have changed bulb combos too many times to remember all of them.

I know you can buy scratch and dent fixtures directly from ati here on r2r. Fwiw mine is a fixture from eBay that costs around $100 with 6 bulbs included. I did swap out those bulbs for ati bulbs though.

I'd go with a 6 bulb Sunpower ATI fixture, and like several have mentioned, a Reefbrite led strip. Below is a pic of my 58 gal with a
36" fixture. I've had the fixture running for 7 yrs. It is very reliable and well built. I was like you and debated weather to go 4 or 6 bulbs. In my opinion, I prefer the better color combination and even spread the 6 bulb fixture offers.

Wow! Amazing system!!! I'm thinking of going Powermodule and using the LEDs to better control the color and intensity. Wish they made a 6 bulb LED Powermodule...

Do NOT go Powermodule. If anything hit up Dave at Nanobox. Have him do an ATI retro for you. 4 T5 bulbs and 4 V3 Nanobox LED Arrays for $4-500 less then the Powermodule. Full wifi control of the LEDs and fans. He builds them in brand new fixtures. If you do contact him let him know I sent you.

How long are people running their ATIs? I run my 36" 6 bulb over my 36x20x14 tank for 8 hours total. 6 of those 4 bulbs. The other 2 are with all 6 bulbs on. I'm 16 inches off the water surface.

Let's see your T5 SPS tanks!

For the lighting combo, from back to front is:

ATI BLUE +
ATI AQUA BLUE SPECIAL
KZ FIJI PURPLE
ATI BLUE +
ATI CORAL +
ATI BLUE +
Reefbrite LED strip

I'm always changing the bulb combo, but always come back to this combo. I think it really makes most of the corals pop.

Thanks for the compliments.

I have a 40b with a 4 bulb Dimmable ATI fixture. I had leds on it a year ago and the best thing I did was going to t5s. I was planing on adding a reefbright strip just never got around to it.

All ati but the fiji purple. I take it you prefer it over the ati bulb?

Planning my swap from radion to t5 here soon and was thinking if going with the kz fiji bulbs.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
