I have the Neptune ATK along with the Apex Classic controller, and when I run the ATK in auto mode, it keeps producing an error and does not run the pump nor the senors. I did make sure everything is plugged in properly and checked the ATK code and everything looks okay. Any suggestions on what to try?

I have a similar experience, with the ATK pump control going from AUTO to OFF. My suspicion is that when I go into a feed cycle, the backflow into the sump raises above the ATK sensor float, and that generates the error that sends the ATK into an error condition.

anyone observes similar behavior, and can offer how to resolve?

Did you use the task / setup wizard to set up the ATK? Maybe the sensors are connected in the wrong position? This is what mine looks like.

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Swx3_1 OPEN Then ON
If Swx3_2 CLOSED Then OFF
When On > 005:00 Then OFF
Defer 000:10 Then ON
Defer 000:04 Then OFF
Min Time 020:00 Then OFF

A lot of these are crapping out at the 8-12 month mark. It appears that neptune made a poor decision and used some crappy optical sensors. Check to see if any are partially or fully flooded.

I have no experience with the unit and cant help you troubleshoot otherwise but its just something I've been hearing about lately so figured I'd mention it in case that is the issue.

I'll take a look here and see, kind of sad that they went on a crappy and probably a cheap optical sensor as I love how it interfaces with my Apex classic, I wonder if they would cover it, have had mine for about 10 months i think
