Anyone been here? What would you rate it? Worth a 5 hr. drive?

i've been there. if you go, make sure to go on a day when public schools are not out (i.e. holidays and weekends). it was very awesome, but very crowded. went there a little over a year ago.

make sure to to the behind the scenes tour...totally worth the money. and they don't allow kids due to the sensitive nature of the tour.

here are a bunch of pics from when i was there in my photoalbum:

My wife and I are trying to make time to plana trip to get up there also. We have heard great things about it.

Hey, that does sound like a plan. We just have to fit it into the work schedules and such. I hope it does work out in our favor. I have been wanting to make it to macna for some time. So this would play out well!

I've been and have season passes for the family. It's a great aquarium.

They just opened the new Coke museum right next to it so there is that to do as well.

Let me know if you need any info on the area.

And if you do come to MACNA, the Saturday Evening event is held there and we will have two hours to roam the place before the event.

I agree

Just returned from Atlanta Sunday night. The better half got her piled high and deep degree Saturday and we spent Sunday at the Aquarium. Well worth the price of admission. It was very crowded and please don't eat there(fifty bucks for burgers and fries and drinks for three). The place was totally amazing. The whale sharks (four now) stole the show but everything was great. The best I've seen.
