I need to make a reliable ATO for a 30G rimless tank without a sump. Any ideas?

Perhaps my daughter can add this to the circuit and I can install it at a lower level as a backup switch

I like this gravity flow idea for the QT tank. Wouldn’t be sufficient for the main tank or a vacation, but also a good backup setup idea for a power outage during a vacation. No battery needed

Question. What about a Kamoer dosing pump like MikeyMikeMike uses in this video?
I basically have the same set up but smaller.
