I have successfully used an gravity bottle ATO. I got a tunze for nanos, 3152 I think, and it works like a champ. Gravity ATO 10 bucks Tunze was 120.00

I checked the Tunze nano ATO on bulkreefsupply and the reviews were too low:

Osmolater nano is garbage.

I've had good luck with a Kamoer ATO One 2 on a timer outlet. I give it 3 one minute opportunities to run in a 24hr period.

I've done the same thing with a reefbreeders prism. It also workes fine.

I prefer the Kamoer over the reefbreeders. Because of the smaller sensor there is way less evaporation and more stable salinity.

Any "nano" ATO will do, there are several good options. I've also tried the bottle ATO, which does work, but basically its only good for 1.5 days, not even a full weekend. Might as well spend the difference between the bottle ATO and a proper ATO and save yourself the hassle of refiling the bottle every 2 days.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
