A week and a half ago, I set up an ATS to help with nutrient export as I have been battling GHA for over a year. It is starting to grow algae and do it's job. I also have some Red Sea NOPOX that I have not used yet. My guess is that I should be patient and give the ATS time to do it's job and not start dosing NOPOX. One change at a time and don't rush... What do you think? Should I give the ATS 4-6 months before adding NOPOX or can the two work together to make my tank algae free?

Tank specs:
-60 cube
-20 gallon sump
-filter sock
-ESHOPPS S-120 skimmer
-302 aquatics ats
-BRS ROX Carbon
-Kalkwasser top off
-BRS two part to supplement kalk

-Alk 8.12
-CA 440
-Mag 1400
-Phos .02
-Nitrate 0
I assume my nitrate and phosphate are low because of the GHA in the display...

Thanks.

It is fine to use both, but since you just set up the ATS, I'd see how well it does before initiating organic carbon dosing in any form (NOPOX is just one brand). :)
