Not quite the same but I picked up 6 Sexy Shrimp yesterday for my anemone tank and went to dump out some of the extra water from my container and one went down the sink. 🥺
:-/ sorry to hear... your sink and my basslet have similar appetites ;)

When I was starting I had a Blue spotted Toby Puffer in my 75 gallon. Tank was getting covered in Algae so I bought one of those cleaner packages off reef cleaners for somewhere around $150. Didnt think about the fact that I had, you know, a freaking PUFFFERR in the tank. almost all the snails became dinner and the poor over fed puffer was basically laying on the sand looking at me like I did something wrong...

Too much of a good thing… did he recover?

I think just about any wrasse would be a no go with sexy shrimp.
The key to keeping sexy shrimp in my previous wrasse dominant tank was having lots of Nems. In fact, wrasses saved me from redrumming my sexies when I found them eating SPS polyps. I put them in with my wrasses and they never ever left their nems ever again :-)

Mine were in an rfa, not a big punch to keep the wrasses away. You had the right nems!

Me too! But for some reason, the two pink streaks, leopard wrasse, Halichoeres coris chrysus coris wrasse, china pearl wrasse, pencil wrasse, and multiple flasher and fairy wrasses all left the sexy shrimp alone.

No nerite was safe in that tank, though.
