I have an Aussie Lord coming and I have seen that they generally like low-moderate flow & light. So if I place it in the sand bottom of my tank, any recommendations on how to secure it in order to keep an urchin from carrying it around?

You're going to have to attach the frag to a larger piece of rubble or if your urchin is a short spine tuxedo or pink/purple spine type it will carry it away if the frag is on the smaller side.

Unless you glue it down or put it in or under a plastic container, there will be little you can do.
