Aussie Toxic Green Slimer vs. Green Slimer?

Anyone know what the difference is between the 2?

I’m having a hard time finding any information on the Aussie Toxic Green Slimer.

I have no idea if that is the same coral as “Aussie Toxic Green Slimer” which is how WWC names it. This article is calling it “Florida Toxic Green Slimer”.

Just need to know about placement in tank.

Defiantly a totally different coral. Very cool one at that.

The original green slimer acros I would guess cake from indo or figi or something like that. The Aussie variants might look the same in our tanks to our eyes but there are probably small differences between slimers from each different location. I would guess the Aussie slimers get slightly bigger branches.

slimer acro's are A.Youngei that is a completely different species A.Florida and not a slimer.

It’s a very neon green beauty. More neon green than a classic green Slimer if you can believe it. Holds the color well in both low and high light. I think it may be from Indo or Australia. Maybe both? Been in the hobby for 20+ years. It’s better than a classic Bali Green Slimer. Gets huge. Growth pattern is a bit different from what I can see.

This pic is from Seaworthy Aquatics in Houston, Texas recently. Can’t remember where he got it in from. Going back for a frag in a week.
