cool, thanks chris...this is the closest I've got to such as the fruit loop, but as I was saying, the colors are more bold when "slightly" closed up as opposed to wide open. I'll think it lost a little color after not paying much attention to it for a few days only to see it pop just the same when it's not quite as inflated...if that makes sense. I've been playing around a lot with the t5 bulbs trying to find that fine line between making the colors pop, but not blueing it out too much. You just can't beat the blues though. Even having 1 of 4 bulbs be a whiter bulb negates so much of the color, but without it the tank looks like a lava lamp. :)

no those get fluffy ....Im seeing average 2 polyps growth in a month on all my aussies.. :(

Two polyps per month is pretty good. I think. Are you feeding them? If so what are you feeding them?
