Two polyps per month is pretty good. I think. Are you feeding them? If so what are you feeding them?

man... I like all this brainstorming stuff.. hopefully we can start propping these guys and be able to keep their beautiful colors by the time they shut down collections... :)

I hope so. Once I get my tank running. I plan to get a few more pieces. The ones I have that survived have started to color back up now that I have them under the radium bulb. I wish i had some actinics as well. :)

Take back my last statement. I just hoked up two 24" Super Actinic VHOs. They hang over the tank and it looks messy, but at least I have them running. :)

Yea your gonna want to have a canopy to hide that. Then you can hang the canopy over the tank......

LOL! It's just temporary until I get the cube tank running. Until then, it will have to do.

Also got these guys back in September.

I've been keeping these multicolor pieces in lower blue lighting and so far they are keeping their orange colors.

SO for lighting would 4 T-5 on a IceCap 2 Ati auqablue + and 2 11K geissmens and 2 54 watt imnport blue T-5 (just blue nothin special) be good lighting to keep there color and grow, the light is on big reflector not indys, and it is about 18" off the tank and the Acans are about 8" under the water level?

How does that sound?

BTW that PINK Center is sweet, nice candy!!

Here are a few of mine.....not nearlly as cool as your guys.
