I’m hoping to let more people know that I have real live rock curing and available for shipping. This was our first shipment but reminds me how much I love love rock with each piece being so unique. I wanted to share the pics I took today. The water quality is perfect just after 10 days of importing and the rock smells great with very minimal color loss. Hope you guys enjoy the pics. No filter:)

super light weight too which is so nice.

I agree! Yes I have all sizes of rock and I’ll personally pack your orders and work with you to make sure you get what you’re after. It’s $25 per pound plus shipping 2 day ups. Here’s a few pics of what 5 and 10 lbs gets you. It’s a lot of rock!!!

We get shafted on a lot of prices down here but live rock is one thing we do get a good deal on. On the weekend I stripped back a tank that I'd used dry rock to set up in December and replaced most of the rock with a few pieces of live rock from Western Australia. I paid just under $30/kg (about US$9/lb). You really can't beat the real thing, that looks like some great quality rock.

Thanks Mate! I’m trying to find a cheaper way to ship it here so I can offer it for less.

What type of critters are left? Sponges, dusters, macros?
I would say mostly coralline and some macro but really not much else. No sponges for sure. I have seen some coral on it it today actually. The water spiked ammonia pretty high for two days when we started so that’s a good thing and a bad thing.

That's quite a while in transit. Did any critter survive?
I got a lot of creatures on my rock
mostly bristlestars, crabs, mantis, starfish.
I wish I needed more rock to see what else I could score
We get the rock on the same flight as our fish and coral but the rock takes a beating being out of the water. Since this rock is so open, a lot of the critters fall off. If you can zoom in on some photos you can really see the rock and what’s on it other than the nice coralline.

Not wrapped in paper?

Postage from Australia to the US is $AU35 minimum. I've had things to post where the packing weighed more then the item. $35. Australia post to US or anywhere in Europe is a rip off

The rock is shipping in the same style box as fish or coral wrapped in a big plastic bag to keep in the moisture. The rock comes wet but not individually wrapped.

I liked the old days when it was shipped wrapped in paper and then put in a bag. Might help keep some of those beneficial critters.
I agree and at the price we have to sell it for, along with the effort to cure it etc, I am packing it with all that in mind and will place each piece in a fish bag wrapped up.
