I wrote this for my avast plank autofeeder and it didn’t run the feeding. Any idea what I did wrong? I have the outlet set to Auto, would it be better if it was set to on? Any help is much appreciated.

I am intending for it to do a 15 second feeding at 1pm and at 3pm.

Turn on the log to confirm it actually trips on. If so ensure your feed is set to feed the moment power is received. But the 060 at the beginning causes your osc command to delay an hour. Would write it instead as

Fallback off
Set off
OSC 000:00/000:15/119:45 Then ON
If time 15:01 to 12:59 then off

Thank you! I’m new to the apex so much appreciated.

So I input this, set it to auto, and it didn’t cycle. Any ideas?

I’m guessing you are not running it long enough to notice anything come out. 15 seconds is a very short period.

What food are you using in the avast?if the reef jerky, it takes a few spins of the auger to start coming out.

In my feed cycle above, I’ve set mine to come on between 8 am and 8 pm for 1 minute 30 seconds every 2 hours.

I also added a manual option and assigned it to feedD. I mostly use the manual feed d option when I want to test the output of the food I’ve added to the plank.

feed D is set to run 60 secs in the gear icon.

Also… your time set may be an issue. Looks like you are trying to exclude/turn off the outlet between 3pm to 1pm the next day?

I think that’s why I added the two different times, as the over night continuous schedule can get tricky. So I set my off time from midnight to 8 am, and then for next 12 hours I set my on schedule and then set a second off period from 8pm to midnight(11:59pm)

Yea I’m feeding the reef jerky. I’ve been using a hydros with that 15 second schedule which is as much as I’m looking to feed really as I have a smaller (90g total volume) with a fairly light fish load. I’ll try your method out, what you’re saying makes sense to me. I’ve never written code like this so I appreciate the support deciphering what I am writing.
