Who here uses them and trusts them? It seems the Apex one and the eheim one are one in the same and the eheim one I have is cheap. I cannot bring myself to trust one of these.

I trust the Apex one. It is a bit noisy, but reliable. Mine goes off 10x a day, every day. Never had an issue.

10 x a day! You must have big happy fish! Lol

I also use Apex auto feeder with dry mixed pellets and it’s very reliable. A bit noisy when it feeds but you know it’s working. Just once a day for me as I manually feed frozen mid day as well

I would buy another without hesitation
