Two options
A: Autoaqua smart auto water changer with ato
B: Kamoer X2SR Auto water Change pump.

Basement water change station wifi can be iffy, but this can be remedied with a signal booster perhaps.
Have had success with other autoaqua products and already have an ato.
Thoughts and recommendations? Leaning towards autoaqua at the moment.

I like the price of this thing (all in one) compared to multiple dosers/pumps, etc. I don't have one tho fwiw... think they're in the UK...

Why does the Autoaqua need 3 pumps; I get the 2 but what's the third for?

Sorry, my bad. I know the DOS has been rock-solid for more than a few people who've used it, but it also requires at least an Apex Jr. at this point.

Out of those two I like the safety of the Kamoer. Not relying on optical sensors and simply exchanging on a 1:1 ratio seems much safer to me...

I just bought a Kamoer X2SR to do my water change. I got it all set up with tubes run and ready to start pumping water in and out from one end of my basement to my tank. Everything going great so far until I downloaded the app. When I opened the app that is all it does open. It will not allow me to scan the code as that bar is not highlighted. So, at this time, I cannot register my unit. All I can do is read the user and privacy agreements. I downloaded it on an android 12 and using 2.4G. Has anyone encounter this issue or any advice as to how to resolve?

What I know about versa is that it does not run as far as the kamoer if your water source is a distance away from your tank.
