Autolift Hood

I been looking at ways to raise and lower my hood automatic. Please feel free to share ideas for something simple

Simple 2 way actuators run it on dc and you can power them with a wall wart and a tri-polar switch

You just have to make sure the actuators have enough travel to do what you want

I'd love to see some pics or a video when you get it installed. Does your canopy hinge at the back? You got the 6 inch one?

Make sure the fulcrum is back towards the hinges but ya that should work

No hinge. Gonna raise the whole hood up and down. I got a 12"

I mounted one of these for a buddy. Lag bolts into the ceiling joist. Works like a charm
