I am stuck with Tom Aqualifter for the CPR overflow. Almost everything has redundancies in tanks these days. Aqualifter failures or clogged airlines are a menace with no obvious redundancy options. So, I started thinking.

does anyone have a solution?

my idea is to have some sort of airline hose switching valve or solenoid to switch the airline from one Aqualifter to a backup, turn off old and then on new, if the first fails. The failure trigger could be gauged as a rise in the tank waterline as that seems to be a consistent symptom.
