I was going to use my two spare Sentia dosing pumps to change 540ml daily, which would give me about 1 gallon per week. They Sentia pumps are too slow and sound like they start to strain with the amount of time needed to move that amount of water.

I’m thinking that maybe these Hydros pumps would be a better choice?

It looks like they can move that amount of water in around 12 minutes. Is that too much for these pumps plugged into a drive port on my XD. Is there maybe a pump that moves more water than 47ml/minute that would work better?

while that pump WOULD technically work, its really not made to move that much liquid. You'd likely burn thru heads/tubing and have to replace it often with the volume you want to move. Those pumps are only 40ml/min.

The SOLE doser is better suited for AWC since it runs 300ml/min, and can handle a higher volume but the cost of $300+ per pump is likely excessive in your case.

I personally would suggest using 2 of these Kamoer pumps: https://a.co/d/4CcVgAl
They are 12V and will run off a Hydros DRIVE port just like the Hydros doser pump above. Then just buy 2 of these drive port cables and plug it right into the kamoer pump: https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-drive-port-cable
This pump has a much higher top output (210ml/min) which is better suited for AWC. I have used this pump as a kalkwasser pump prior to getting a SOLE myself and it worked very well.

In hydros you can program those kamoer pumps just as if they were any dosing pump. use the doser output of type SIMPLE. Set the default rate in Hydros to match what the estimated actual rate of the pump is (i would just set the dial to MAX and then assume that its 210ML). Then you can calibrate Hydros for that dosing pump so its accurate. Once you do that, then just setup a dosing regimen schedule for the 2 pumps to remove xML and add xML. Easy peasy.

I have also used these pumps for AWC as well on Hydros: https://a.co/d/9aWQ6qX
They are 24V pumps, but will still work on a 12V hydros DRIVE port... the flow rate is just halved from 300ml/min to 150ml/min.

These pumps also come with a 120V adapter, so if you have 2 AC outlets open on a LAUNCH or XP8, you can do the same identical thing I said above without using the drive ports/adapters.
