Baby hippo tang

So I picked up a baby hippo tang its about a half inch in size. What is the best thing to feed it? I thought it would tear the sea weed from the veggie clip but it must be too small. If I reach in and rip off a piece of sea weed it seems to go for it but wont touch the sheet that I have dangling. Is there a recomended food source for a hippo tang so small?

Keep at it with the Nori. They need time to get used to it. You can also feed other foods like, mysis, Krill and other plankton. They should start eating just about whatever you offer if they are healthy and adjusted.

When I had mine, I fed him the frozen Mysis cubes. As he grew, he started taking the algae sheets along with everything else.

i have one that has grown to about 2 inches so far, he goes for the formula 1 and formula 2 small pellets.
He does not go for the nori in my tank but my other tangs and angels do...
I see him try mysis here and there but he spits it back up...
