Those pics were definitely worth reading through the rest of the 18 pages this thread has grown to be. Really really cool. I had this happen with my blastos, but they grew a little quicker and was brought on by a man-made natural disaster (kalkwasser nuking).

If a new one grows when one falls off that plate could end up paying for your hobby. I won't be suprized to see pics a bunch of peoples tanks with a dead plate sitting in it. Very cool, nice pics.

Don't let them grow together. I have one that has six mouths!! It's cool looking, but doesn't really resemble a plate anymore.

Here are pictures of my plate, before I moved it and after. Not sure why they bleached like they did but they're still growing like crazy! I hope your's does as well as mine did, they are beautiful.

Ok here they are but don't be disappointed. I couldn't get a larger over all good pic. I have a canopy and I was having to hold my dslr in one hand and the coral in another.

that is so cool. if they aer not all spoken for id like one as well. I had the same thing happen to me Kinda. Mine died of but came back. I mean it looked so dead. everyone told me to toss it but it came back. now if anything in my tank dies I wait 2 weeks to chuck it.
