Baby Trochus Snails

Here’s how many baby Trochus Snails I pulled out of my four filter socks when cleaning.
I run a reef tank only with no fish so these guys should make it to adult hood!

The filter socks were pretty clean too.... anymore breeding might be a problem.

Offer them to local reefers. Newbies can always use them and it a great way to give back to the hobby.

I don’t believe it’s hard at all the breed them. Just have zero fish and it should work!hahahaah

Here’s an update for everyone on my FIRST ever baby that finally took her shape!

Took my screen off for literally five minutes and we have someone trying to make a run for it.
I give them a promising life and this is how this one repays me?
What’s the punishment for this? Put her in the sump to teach her? Then again, she’d probably love that...

This is why I almost exclusively use trochus. Just the chance that they breed and you get a few more is great. Plus they are arguably the best of the snails at algae cleanup.
