Back at it with the Reefer 750xxl my first set up I felt was under powered by the lights I was using and was not happy. Also had and issue I believe was with some of the shelf rock I had purchased was leeching something into the water and not allow any kind of sps to grow in the tank. Since then I redid the tiles in the house and had to move the tank on to the new tiles so I took this chance to make things right and restart the tank over with new rock and start from scratch once more. Here’s the process.

I set up a 50 gallon AIO system where I house my fish and some of the coral I had. Once the RSR was ready and salinity matched fish were transferred to their new home I did not have any losses or issues with transferring the fish back into the 750 everything went as planned and could’ve have had a better outcome.

Couldn’t pass up this deal on G4 pros now that the G5 we’re out upgraded from 4 x hydra 26 Hd to Radion G4 Pros x 4 didn’t want to keep spending money and buy the rail mount for the radions and hang them from the ceiling or the rms brackets having 4 Hms brackets I decided to do a hack and it worked out perfect. I drilled a hole Inter center of the radion mounts and added the nut with bolt from the hydra then used that to mount the new lights onto the brackets just like the hydras were and it worked out perfectly fine. Happy with the outcome and the way the tank looks now and super happy with the purchase of the new lights which by the way are mobius compatible and only 1 year old so no need for reeflink all lights work through the mobius app.
