Hello everyone, happy to be here and already overwhelmed by all the interesting threads!
I‘m Dave (the „Da“ in the Username haha), biologist and after a very long time back in the aquarium hobby. It all started with a freshwater tank i got with 8 from my Dad, which is actually exactly the tank I use now for my newest project in which I try to make the most out of my marine biology studies and test my skills and probably soon also my nerves haha.

After childhood times and that freshwater tank I stepped back from the hobby until I maintained and used the University tanks and found back to tank life. My bachelor thesis in Madagascar and scuba diving then finally fully brought the wish for a tank back, but due to my travels and my masters I had to wait another few years to finally have the time to run my own tank. Beside my new project, which is cycling since one week, I run also a all-in-one 15 gal nano reef cube. For this i have no thread but if too many people wanna see it I sure will do one with pleasure.
I hope this was not to much and to long, if you sticked till here, once again: thanks for having me, I‘m happy to be here and looking forward to learn, help, discuss and have a good time with all of you!
