Not super happy with my aqua scape yet, but it is transferred from the holding tank to my display!

Daytime color. Took a bit to become accustomed to the way things operate with GHL but happy I went GHL this time. Regarding control of the lights, I programmed my master to the aquarium Wi-Fi access point and it works well so I wont need the pwc expansion card. Thanks to @BeanAnimal for refreshing my networking memory in another thread, I have the access point running with my GHL equipment flawlessly

Set up my AWC tonight with 2 Ecotech Versas. Seemed to be much easier to calibrate than my old DOS units were, and definitely quieter. Hopefully adding observation tank next week or so so I can buy some corals!

Added some copepods and 2 little captive bred tuxedo urchins because I saw a bit of hair algae

Here is my tank today. Lights on with 80-120 par on the rocks. I have some clean up crew in there, going to order 4-5 euphyllia corals next week. Observation tank nearly finished, I'll upload a pic soon

Thanks! My last tank was a bit over 8ft in the same spot, amazing how just a few inches less made this tank fit better. I had a big life reef skimmer on my 400, loved it so thought I'd try the whole sump this time. I love the sock less design, I just buy a big roll of filter pad material from Amazon and cut to fit. I don't have to wash or rinse sponge or filter sock this way

This is my coral observation tank, it's in the closet of my office where my display is located. I've got some organization to do yet. Need to pick up a power strip for the observation tank and hang the light when it arrives tomorrow. I think I'm going to stock the display with corals and inverts then let it run for awhile before adding fish.

Did the dynamat work? I'm afraid I won't be able to use it on my cabinet doors because they weight it will add since my cabinet doors are going to be hung by magnets. I dynamatted my MR2 and added 30 pounds each door!
