Ok, I have a piece of land, kinda in boonies, there's a well, I set there a 30' storage container,
And 120v. 10 amp max for usage.This is where I will continue trying to raise dendronephthya corals. Will add pictures very soon. Tomorrow going to try installing small pump run it 20' to storage container. I'm hoping to use well water as geothermal heat for DT, and in summer for cooling. As per @Subsea recommendations.
Keeping it simple, no heat pumps, only water pumps and heat changers

As a Marine Engineer with a a BS from Texas Maritime Academy please use some engineering hard numbers from Thermodynamics 101.
BTU = energy required to heat 1 lb of water 1 degree Fairinheight
1G of water equals 8.34 lbs
1 cubic foot equals 7.48G

Evaporative cooling:
1 lb of water equals 1000 btu of cooling

Here in Austin, an average size oak tree will evaporate 100 GPD. Do the math and you will:see that one lad tree will cool 834,000 BTU per day.
 
So I'm going to bring h2o by DT. Use a coil heat exchanger SS 316(100'), run DT water in side coil, and of course controlled by temp. Controller. Also I have ventless propane wall heater 20,000btu? Very small, mounts on wall. Only on issue, want to guess someone.

Propane uses oxygen and produces carbon dioxide. Probably low pH in system.
You got it!!!! So that's out of the picture. I was going to supplement alittle heat in cargo container. No problem. Other ways to do that.
 
So today going to run pump, piping all the way to location just outside container, let well water flow into bucket, let it overflow and take temp reading. I'm curious how close to US CHART it will be.

Also going to utilize a chest freezer, just box, because it's well insulated to let well water flow in it before returning back to well. Or start growing watermelons and dump water there. Or some kinda vegetable garden.
Wish I had two well openings 100' apart. Beggars can't be choosers.
 
Heres container, 30' long x 10' w x 10' tall.
Meazured some of depth tape measure stops at 25', should be deeper.
Pumps i used wont work. Need a well pump, low amps.

Instead of running water back into well, I suggest you make a small water garden and allow water to percolate back into subsoil or grow watermelons/cantaloupe.
Yes, garden be tbe key to return water.

Found this, my ground water should be 72 F, we'll see tomorrow. If true. Perfect temp.

In my case, ground water from 1000’ feet is 78 degrees. I am fairly certain that there is a geothermal vent in the Aquifer that I am in, because of the sulfur smell.

Here in Austin, keeping system water warm in winter is single biggest expense. Evaporative cooling is more than sufficient in Texas summers.

I love evaportive cooling. Home im in. First thing i did is add EC. Love it.

Home has central too. Is summer electric bill for two was $601 one month. To much
