Lost a fish today while in QT.
First one in a while about five years.
It was a clown fish that always liked to take the nemo way into the hob filter. The first time it happened was funny like I looked at the tank for a good hour for him. Then I saw him in the filter. He made that journey five or six times. I never thought to plug up the hole because he always made it unscathed.
But today we lost power so i think what happened was he swam in side then the power came on and he got stuck in he gears. Because when I found him it was fresh.
It just stinks now my other clown is by herself. And i havnt told the wife yet as I know she will be sad.
It's just been a bad day. Hope urs is better

Everyone tells me I'm too emotionally invested in my fish. I love each and every one of them. They are all distinct and they DO have a personality. I don't care what anyone says. I hope your wife takes the news better than I do. I'm sad for your clown. Find him a fried soon

Sorry to hear that... I just lost 6 in the last 24 hours..
I I'm sorry, Joey! I have had too many tank crashes in the last 2 years since I started this endeavor. So many times I want to throw it all away but there'll be the one fish left who wouldn't give up so I couldn't. I have an 8 line wrasse who has been through 2. I call him Chuck. For Chuck Norris. My Chuck could rule the world! Don't give up.

It's my first semi crash, I had a heater explode and killed 6 of 7 fish. Crashes are bad no matter who you are.
