Some suggest getting glass cut to size, some DIY acrylic or plexi. Dawned on me today I can get tons of scrap tiles from job sites. Saw a bunch of glass tile scraps today, little leary about these though as one side is painted. What uncommon materials have you used or have seen used?

For baffles? Ive never seen anythign besides acryllic and glass. The painted stuff is probably fine since its dried or fired on. Just be careful of anything with adhesive on it.

If you can remove the paint and clean it... try it out. I recommend sanding the edges some so you don't cut yourself when working in the sump.

I would be a little weary about any type of contaminant leaching out from the tiles, I'd just get some pieces of acrylic and cut them but that's just my opinion ;) Good Luck
