I got a Bali slimer frag last month from my vendor. It is a deep vibrant neon green and growing already. I ordered another frag from the same vendor. It is a yellowish pale green color after 5 days in the tank. Do you think it will darken up with the right conditions? Are there different color variations for the Bali green slimer?

Same vendor, it should in theory. But SPS are finicky buggers. Could have been stressed from shipping or trimmed from a low light part of the mother colony. I just trimmed mine. The whole back (shaded) side of the cut piece is pinkish yellow. You should have hit me up. I’d let you have it free but with current gas prices, it may be cheaper to order :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Green slimers should always be lime green, imo. Depending on lighting they may be slightly different. I have grown them under all light systems.
Their was not much difference in color when they were under halides in my 120 or my current 16hds in my frag system.
Most likely it was in low light and will correct once given higher light.
