Hey all - apologies if this is the wrong thread, but if anyone can help me figure out how much of Tropic-Marin balling "B" i need to add (scoops) for 1000ML of RODI that would be amazing! Unless you tell me just put 16 scoops of it into 1gal of RODI, mix it around and it will be fine, then cool... That's the only mixing instructions i can find and i dont know if there's a shelf life after being mixed. Thanks in advance.

Salt needed for 5 Liters of solution:
A - Calcium chloride dihydrate (part A): 380 g / 0.84 lb / 16 scoops
B - Sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate (part B): 378 g / 0.83 lb / 21 scoops
C - Sodium chloride free sea salt (part C): 120 g / 0.26 lb / 5 scoops

Note that the recipe I posted is for 5 liters.

Mixing 21 scoops may or may not dissolve in 5 liters, but if it does, it is no longer balanced for 1:1 dosing with the calcium part.

1 gallon needs 16 scoops.
