Just curious if anyone's banded trochus spawn every full moon like mine do? I don't know how they know it's a full moon, but they usually start around 3 or 4 pm and by morning the tank is clear again.

It's crazy!
 
Mine just did last night, had the smoking tank effect going on for a good 4 hours, tank was clear in the morning. My favorite snail by far, they lack the I've fallen and can't get up syndrome that so many other snails perish from.

These snails are known to spawn regularly in the captive reef, but I really couldn't comment on the amount of reefers who can set their lunar calender by such.
Hey- if nothing else- great food, great family, and great fun....
