I would like to add a pair of bangaii cardinal to my 75g display tank. I bought a pair about 2 weeks ago. One died. The other is looking good and ready to be added to the display tank. If I add it now to the tank, can I get another bangaii, quarantine it for 2 weeks and then add it to my display tank? Or will that be a problem if they are not added at the same time.

If you feed them a lot, you can see tiny vents protruding from the belly. One sex has one vent, the other has two vents. I forget which is which, but it’s very reliable for pairing Bengaii. A quick google search will bring up some pictures so you can see examples.
