Bare Bottom Question

I currently run a bare bottom system with a sheet of ABS plastic to help prevent any accidental cracking on the bottom pane. I'm lookin at setting up a new system that has euro bracing and don't think I'll be able to get a sheet in without cutting it to pieces first. Looking for ideas on other options to use. What have others used?

There's a cloth used for well pump strainers, on my glass tank, I silicone it to bottom. More for Aesthetics than protection.

I was thinking about yoga mat but not sure if it will leech unwanted stuff into the water col.

yeah, don’t do that! ABS is flexible enough to bend past the euro-bracing

Unfortunately all sponge or most plastics do.

Thats what i figured on the leeching. Ill stick with the ABS then it sounds like.

I managed to get a single sheet into my euro-braced tank with a center-cross support. It can be done

Never used anything on my bare bottom tanks. Just stack carefully
