I received a frag on Wednesday that has barnacles in it. Do they spread to other sps?
 
It's the green sickly one on the right. Sorry for the bad pic, photography is not my forte.

Nope. I have not seen that happening, but then again I have tanks for only 2-3 years. Lets see what others say,

i had one for a while, 6months. it was pretty cool seeing it open up and let out its feed feathers. The tenius eventually encrusted over it and killed it.
