There is no denying the talent. The Astros have some of the best players in MLB and I have no doubt they will be very competitive this year. My best pal is from Washington. He’s a big Ms fan, but it’s mostly nostalgia. Saw they’ve got some good prospects. You got vogelbomb. He was one of my favorite minors guys in the cubs system. That trade worked out nice for both teams I’d say.

Oh don’t worry, our lovely GM in all his crazy whacky nonsense dealings will trade everything good away, for more up and coming prospects, so on and so forth. He does it every year. Do just a tiny bit of research into who he has traded away and you could build a World Series team on paper. But yes we currently have vogelbach. And he’s a beast. Wouldn’t be surprised if he got traded for more prospects.

At least you all have rings. I’ve been a mariner fan all my life. Still lookin for a World Series ring. Or even a playoff game! Last time they were there was 97 I think. (Don’t quote me on that) in 97 I was 14 years old, couldn’t make it to a game. I as a fan want to get there and see it live.

Maybe y’all can get Ken Griffey Jr back! Haha! He was the man!

I’m a Rays fan until $tu moves the team for a money grab. Going to really enjoy my 5-7 years of caring about MLB, because it’s not happening when they move.

Rays are still going to be a great team with a tiny payroll but I am concerned about brain drain from the front office.

NL making its pitchers hit is antiquated and they need to adopt the DH.

Astros cheating sucks because it impacted my team. There’s a zero percent chance that they actually stopped, and they clearly were ready for Glassnow’s signs. That said I’m sure it won’t be long before Longo rats out Tampa’s sign stealing techniques.

I’m taking a leap and saying they were still cheating in 2019. Game 5 of the ALDS they stole Glassnow’s pitches and got hits off a guy with usually unhittable stuff.

Born having to pull for the Braves and lost interest after Grandpa passed. I’d watch games occasionally and most of the playoffs thru the years but when my first son wanted to start playing T-ball it was downhill from there..... for every other hobby. I’m sure most feel this way, but was just naturally good, like weirdly good, from day one. We’d watch games more for seeing plays and learning positioning.
Now son number 2 comes along and is just as good. At 5yo last year seemingly all of a sudden started to like the Yankees. But not sort of like them just because they won the first game or 4 he watched, like super fan all of sudden. Within a couple of weeks he knew most of the starters numbers, relief pitchers numbers, most players first names, who was playing well, who was in a slump, who was injured and when they should be back. I think he may have been happier than most die hard lifetime fans when Cole was signed this winter. With that said he’s still just a fan of the game too and will watch any two teams, play any time, and over any other show/cartoon/movie
As for the recent scandal and finding out that they beat the Yankees in 2017 he was livid. Before that he was a fan of a couple Asstros players; Cole and Altuve, not Altuve anymore though. When I asked about Cole he said he was still OK because he was a pitcher and couldn’t hit the ball anyway! Hahaha truff! He also said “the championship should be taken cause they cheated, if my team had cheated they’d have told us we lost”
Money, fame, sportsTV analyst, MLB Board can’t twist the truth of a child. Knowing the pitches certainly changed the outcome, they are labeling fans as morons to try and pass that off as an explanation.

So.....now we have the MLB channel (blessing and curse) and when a game isn’t on there or anywhere else, it’s on to YouTube for highlight videos.

In conclusion, I’m a Yankees fan now and I never thought I would have put that in writing!!!

I guess we’ll see some of y’all in October!!

Yes! Merlot Joe! Hate to see him go. I think he can put together another great team. One of the best managers in the MLB and maybe he’ll get recognized some day. I wouldn’t be shocked. Hope the Cubs and Sosa can come to some sort of way to connect. Those were great years for a lot of fans despite the advantages players were taking.

The 3 batter minimum ruins same handed matchups.
Stros players should be suspended for at least a year. If not, Manfred should lose his job!
The dodgers deserved ‘17 title and judge was robbed of the ‘17 MVP by altuve.
The MLB also needs to scrap the playoff “game show” idea!!!
