Hey Reef2Reef, I’m considering getting a Bearded Dragon soon. I would appreciate any information with experience, feeding, and tank size. Please share any pictures!

Thanks for any feedback.

@Daniel@R2R were being called to duty!
I have owned several and recently acquired a new baby from a breeder. What would you like to know :)

I owned one for 10 plus years. Keep him warm, spend the right money on lights and handle him or her often. Friendliest reptile I’ve ever had!

Tank size I went with a 48x18x18.
I really love the reptisun 10.0 uvb bulb, the t5 style not the coil bulb.
I feed Dubia roaches, I actually am attempting to breed them to have a constant source of food so i dont have to run to the pet store daily ;Shifty
I also give him a dish of collard greens and sprinkle a little calcium powder on them.
I've caught him eating the collards already and hes only 2 months old :)
Also make sure to get a good calcium and multivitamin supplement. I really like Rep-Cal.
I've been keeping reptiles for years. I actually had another bearded dragon that lived to be 12 years old before he passed away. But lizards, snakes, turtles, I've kept them all (despite my moms wishes :D )

Forgot to mention he’d be going into a Exo Terra 40 breeder with opening front doors.
40b is a great size and is in my opinion the minimum size I would house an adult in.

Very cool guys! I have a leopard gecko right now in a basic desert setup. Constructing a bio-active vivarium for dart frogs currently.
My progress so far.

Nice! I’m really enjoying constructing it so far, it’s a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Tell him to do it! It’s a lot cheaper than reefing too! My entire set up, minus frogs and plants, has only cost me about $350. Not too bad for a little quarantine project ;)

Was always my favorite breeder to purchase from when i kept beardies, beautiful unique dragons and back in the day were THE breeders to purchase unique variants rather then standard run of the mill petsmart dragons.

What are some favorite Bearded Dragon morphs?
I tend to like anything with hypo or trans morphs. Brings out more orange and red. Theres also a newer morph called paradox morph. Very unique
