Something hideing in my tank ate a arm and the middle out of my star he is moveing and eatting but the food goes in his mouth and right out of the big hole in his top does anyone think he will make it

OMG I have never seen one still alive after such damage. What do you have in the tank with him?

Snails , two clowns , 1 long anemome , sand shift star , two fighting conch and that is it

He is still moving as well like nothing has happend going to see how it turns out before I remove him

Yep he is fine sifting along in the sand

Interesting not to many things will eat starfish sounds like he won't make it if he can't eat might starve to death before he heals stomach. Put him in another tank if u have one
