Hello All!
I've recently gotten into the hobby by getting a fluval 13.5g tank. I've been lurking around these forums reading all the information, I figured I'd sign up and contribute!

Welcome! Nice scape, and nice rock choice! I would recommend upgrading from the sponge filter. You can use it for a good amount of time to utilize it. But I’d recommend getting the intank media basket or something along those lines, and use filter floss up top with some media below.
I have the Fluval 32.5. And the saltwater light is not bad, and definitely will grow soft corals, and most LPS corals. Blastomussas and Acans will definitely even be fine on the sand bed.
You can also add Green Star polyps to the back wall, and it’ll look very pretty!
If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask!

Thanks! Yeah I have upgraded from the sponge to an intank basket in chamber 2. Running a protein skimmer in chamber 1. I’m sure I’ll be upgrading the light before too long. Having fun so far working to get the tank up and going!

Have you started a build thread? Would love to follow it. Been thinking about adding the protein skimmer.
