Well going back to my first reef tank, 20 years ago, I would say the importance of RO/DI water and the ability to use live rock as your only source of biological filtration.

That this hobby costs a bomb, if i had known how expensive it was I may not have got into it.
But once your in, there is no turning back, sooo addicted now its stupid, empty wallet.

this. im not rich lower middle class income plus upper crust hobby equals empty wallet and aggrivated wife.

that all the fish i want need big tanks... but all the coral i want are ok in small tanks lol maybe by now id have 1 of each lol
