Hello from Portugal!! I've a reeftank for about 3 months now and i bought a second powerhead Jecod Dwp-9, but I really have doubts where i put them. Can somenone help me? I have two euphyllias in a high position and i have sump. Photo to help.

I'm not familiar with the Jecod pump models - is the 2nd one in the photo? What is the volume of your tank, and what is the flow rate of each pump? Are your pumps controllable?
As far a placement goes, you should be find as long as:
You have a pretty open rock structure, so that should facilitate healthy flow throughout the tank.
Watch your tank over the next couple weeks. If algae growth or uneaten food tend to collect in a certain spot, adjust your powerheads a little at a time to try to get more flow to these areas. As your corals grow and/or you add corals that demand a higher flow you can add additional powerheads or replace the ones you have with higher flow pumps.

- You are not getting sand blowing everywhere
- You can see your LPS polyps gently swaying and are not getting 'beat up'

Hello and welcome! I also wanted to add that sometimes adding them more toward the top of the tank helps with surface agitation which is good for oxygen exchange. Also keeping them more toward the top usually

I would put them on opposite ends about 1/4 of the way down, slightly pointed up so they collide in the middle above your rock structure.
This is my 8ft long 300g. I run a pair of Gyre 350's on each end, running opposite each other on a 5 minute interval, with 3x MP 40's on the back wall. Old Pic that shows the powerheads really well.
When it comes to water flow you want to eliminate any Stagnate or Dead Spots in your box. I hope this helps a little. Good Luck to you.

Thanks a lot guys. I put One in the SIDE and the other in another SIDE but not in the same "line", One is more on the front and the other more on the black, both of them aiming to the top off the water... I Guess its ok now, let's pray :) ill put photo tomorrow
