Hello everyone,

Yesterday I got a pair of clownfish, one regular and a black storm one.

Today observing the tank I noticed that there is something weird with his head. A lump or something like a curved spine. Can anyone help me with this? Should I return it to the fish store?

The fish is very active, swimming all over the tank, both are slow on eating but I think it's because they just got here less than 24 hours ago.

The angle made it very noticeable, in person is not that protuberant.

Thanks in advance.

try and get a few more pictures but it is most likely a birth defect so idk if the store will let you return it as you picked that one. Nothing wrong with it if it is and it should live a fine life

He's just funky. I like him. Maybe not so pleased with breeding practices, but I like him nonetheless.
Yeah, I like him too. I plan to keep him, he started eating today, and his excrement was white and stringy, maybe from stress of the new tank. At least things are moving. The breeder and LFS said I won't have problems with him, and the LFS even offered to trade him for another one, but I don't think I will.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
