I just picked up a few Bergia Nudibranchs and I have a question. I do a lot of diving and collecting in the keys. I was wondering if anyone has ever collected these in the wild and if so any particular location. The spot where we collect Astra snails has a lot of Aptasia but I have never spotted the Bergia.

In wild they are almost strictly nocturnal due to the abundance of predators. In a closed ecosystem like our hobbyists tanks they can become over populated and venture out during the day. This will then be seen more frequently when the lack of predators in the tank is apparent and they feel more comfortable with the inhabitants of your tank. If trying to collect in the wild I would say that your only hope of seeing on out and about would be at night or close to night!
