Bernardopora not so happy...

Hello,
My bernardopora has been grown from a small piece and split a few time but one of the frag is not doing well... it was fully colored and happy until a rhodactis touched it. It progressively retracted over a few weeks even after I removed the rhodactis. Now it is almost fully retracted and very light in color. Another frag is totally happy a few inch away (same light and flow). Any ideas how to help this coral. I Hhad this happened to a few gonioporas and never managed to bring them back.

I don't know what is bothering the coral, but its dying in that spot, I would move it to a different position before its too far gone. I would put it near the happy one and see what happens.

It grew from half this size at this exact spot. I can move it but I'm not sure it will help. A third frag did not so well in another tank and I tried to put it on the sandbed next to the other and it never came back. Just died slowly (more than a month) one inch away from the happy frag...

I tried feeding reefroid with little succes. Someone told me about amino acid bath... Any experience?

I don’t think that would help

I would try lugols or iodine dip

Thanks for the advice I will certainly try it. Anyone else has experience with this kind of trouble?
