I am looking for the best t5 4 bulb combo for soft coral?

I just called a lfs and was told
2 blue+
1coral+
1 true actinic

I was thinking subbing out coral+ for a fugi purple?

I've run that & will be on my new lps/ soft tank actually. The 2 blues will have plenty of par /spectrum & the Fiji has decent par as well for what is considered a supplemental light. I like running a purple with the blues. I think the blue plus washes some colors out. the coral plus is very bright and in a 4 bulb can definitely take over if your aiming for a more blue look the purple blends in a little better w the blues. It's all preference though. Especially with softies you don't have the higher par concerns. If you were going sps down the road you'd need to go 6 bulb or look at doing something like 2 coral + 2 blue at bare minimum on a shallow tank.
