I read a study recently where they said Camel Shrimp might be the ticket for AEFWs.

@Kactai @kartrsu Sorry I took so long to reply, missed this. Assuming I’m using 5L of solution at 4g of Potassium chloride / Litre, there’s 525mg of K per 1g of KCl, so 525 x 20 = 10,500mg total K. My system is 680L so it will potentially raise K by 10500/680 = 15.4 mg/L. As reef tank values are meant to be between 380 - 440mg/L, it’s not going to do anything drastic.

I have a Timor wrasse and with the way mine hunts all day I would bet that would be a good chance. He relentlessly hunts even the smalles pods in very tight spaces. Plus side is they are cool looking. I am unsure on compatibility with your other wrasses. Mine is not aggressive to the other fish but he also doesnt back down from my tang when it gets pushy. I have no other wrasses currently.

Acro crabs job is to keep their host clean. They are good at it. They don't live long (year or two) and will not likely wander off of the acro, so they will not get rid of AEFW. They should keep their single acro clean

I have a colony hosting two crabs at the moment and it is infested with AEFW. Either they are lazy crabs or don't identify the worms as attackers. Unfortunately, all the work in keeping the crabs alive through dipping has not paid off in successfully keeping their acro clean.
