Best automatic aquarium tester for alk etc?!

I've been happy with my trident. I know some have had their issues but I have not and it's accurate when compared against my Hanna.

I use a Hydros X10, and I used a KH Carer in the past.
I prefer the titration-based testers for alk. You can make your own reagent and all of the parts are easily serviceable. The colorimetric testers are more difficult to service yourself, and the reagent cost is more expensive, even if you don't go the DIY route.
With my X10 I test alkalinity every hour since I found how to make reagent with Muratic acid, the tests are super cheap. I would never do this with a colorimetric tester like the Trident.
If you are already in a controller ecosystem, then I think it makes sense to stick with that brand's solution. If you are not using a controller system, then I would make the decision based on the controller system as a whole, not just alkalinity testing.
